So you’re saying, even though your private message is encrypted and if you tag/mention someone in that message, the person who is owner of the public key will be notified ? 😳

Yes. DMs on Nostr are kind of broken.

And everything you say in a nostr encrypted message should be presumed eventually leaked bc you can’t trust fools not to pull a gandalf and post their private key

I’ve been badmouthing the nostr devs all along in dm’s and now I need to encode their names (like D3Rēk ) instead of using their pub key, ….
