Ok, of all the memes in bitcoin, I hate this one the most. I get what we're trying to convey, that Bitcoin can't be debased. But, mathematically, this makes no sense. It's like when you're doing an algebra problem and get to x=x. If you get that answer, you did something wrong. You can also say 1USD = 1USD. Without context this is also true. Print all the dollars you want, 1USD will still be 1USD, no matter how debased it is. I'm sorry, this meme needs to die
There’s also this massive circle jerk of virtue signaling around it. Like, “I don’t think about price action. Do YOU think about price action? Only filthy peasants think about price action!” Bro. Purchasing power go up is why we got into this. Quit acting like this isn’t about money.
