The level of entitlement my generation, GenX, has is absolutely embarrassing.

Counselor at my daughter’s high school tells us not to get mad before she tells us that students need to attend class and not go on vacation randomly during the semester.

The thing (and I’ve been observing this for years) is that my generation (those students’ parents) think they can take them to Disneyland, for example, whenever they please and that everybody needs to bend over to accommodate them.

And my daughter tells us that her friends think we’re too strict because we don’t allow those things.

This is the fucking antithesis to proof of work.
