I'm tired of seeing people cry about this. I could have never been fully invested in Bitcoin had I not liked some Shitcoins.

So what.

If his family wants to do this let them. It's not him in an official capacity. Besides, it's not some covert operation. It's just a shitcoin. No different than Amazon points, Chucky Cheese, casino tokens or Cowboy Credits.

You are trying to prevent people from making mistakes. In order to even have these tokens they have to still have wallets, see phrases and all the skill sets involved in self custody.

It's not that important. Bitcoin by no means is an easy activity. The wallets change. The fees go up. New options for running nodes. Lightning is a great way to lose Bitcoin.

Just stop crying.

If you have something better then people will buy it. If not then you are just salty.

Personally I'm tired of trying to convince others that Bitcoin is so great. I'm tired. Unless you stay on in top of the technology you will get lost. Same goes for Linux. I love it and use it but I'm not trying to get the rest of the planet on board.

What people need is an unregulated easy to go to the marketplace, have a business and get paid in whatever they want. Bitcoin isn't going to make this happen. As long as we are exchanging value there will be entities that desire to extract wealth and this will happen regardless of the money.
