Amethyst now allows you to include your pronouns, if you feel so included. But really the field has no validation, so you can use this field for anything.

Couldn't people have included their "pronouns" in their bio already, without having to make a specific field for the BS?

They could have. Absolutely. Having standardization helps. Though with no validation it's not really that much of a standard.

And no need for standardization to appease 0.001% of the population, + those who want to pander to them by putting the pronouns we would have used for them anyway.
