ive heard the hypothesis that minors are easier to control and manipulate, not resourced, no leverage, no lived experience
ok. i hear that. that's sound to me.
but also, and not a counterpoint, more just broadening, are adults that hard? as in: it is pretty easy to be taken advantage of at any age. tricked. scammed. manipulated.
as in, why would it be about the challenge creating safety? that adults are too challenging to control so gotta go for minors?
