The US dollar will inevitably inflate into oblivion, but what happens along the way?

Studying Weimar Germany is interesting as it shows the lies the government told and their attempts to ban gold. What do you think are the most likely lies our politicians will force feed us during the dollars decent toward 0?

Exactly, I think this one is incredibly likely. But I'd like to keep pulling the thread. What precisely would they do at that point? They would take increments steps likely and it would look wildly different from attempt to ban gold.

That's a good question, IDK what it would look like but I don't think their arguments would hold much water. It would be like a lay Dutch effort for them to blame us for the failures that they made.
