I’m pretty excited too – can’t wait to finally get it running :)

And just out of curiosity (I know jack-shit about stuff like this) what’s the pros/cons of using a bunch of Bitaxes rather than one bigger Asic (like the S19 or what they’r called)? Is it better suited to pair with solar?

Right now, I’m running just a single solar panel with a maximum output of 440 W – far from enough to power a typical ASIC miner, which draws around 3000 W at 230 V.

My miners, however, run on 5 V, which comes with a few advantages: I don’t need an inverter and can power them directly via DC. I can also toggle individual chips on or off – perfect for working within a tight power budget.

Whether this setup will prove worthwhile in the long run is hard to say, but it’s definitely fun to experiment with.

Ah I see! Sweet, thanks for the reply :)
