Are there any laws of men, not derived from the laws of God, to which we are truly subject? (Augustine didn't think so.)
What is Caesar's? 🤔

Hey!
Thanks for joining in the discussion.
Can you give an example from Augustine?
Ceaser is a biblical example. Replace Ceaser for government.
(That said. Everyone has a duty to disobey unjust laws)
If Seizer comes and robs you, takes your pay by force without your consent, is it really his?
Notice that Jesus didn't define what belongs to Seizer, except that it was implied that the coin presented belonged to him since his face was on it.
So if you don't use Caesar's money then does it still belong to Caesar? 🤔
