I really want to use Fountain but I swear every time I try it upsets me.
I was just listening to a podcast, then paused and ate lunch. Then I tried to resume the episode, not even using the OS controls but actually opening the app and it’s all gone and the episode starts again.
Last time I tried, I downloaded bunch of episodes to listen on a plane as usually, but then it didn’t work offline.
Is there any simpler podcast player that does v4v and works?

I used to use Hypercatcher a few years ago and it was decent.

I went back to iOS Podcast app (no zapping). Then i tried again Fountain which got much better and i used for a while but now its again driving me nuts because it resets time position when listening in the car (you pause and then start playing again and it jumps back 20min or whatever).
I hope someone can make simple app without all the stupid features, but you can actually play a podcast on it:-)

I haven’t used Breez in years. I thought the app was not getting much love since Breez SDK, but I’m willing to give it a try again.
Closed source proprietary software. Antithetical to bitcoin ethos, IMHO.
I have QubesOS laptop and GrapheneOS phone, but it’s so much work to maintain that I always end up using iPhone and Mac.
If you don’t use any prop software yourself, hats off and respect to you!
It's a challenge for sure! My current lifestyle does not require optimal digital functionality, so a strictly FOSS graphene phone with an old iphone available in a pinch works. Tails meets my current laptop needs. Cool that you run qubes. Tried once on an old macbook, but couldn't jump through enough hoops. May have to retry sometime with a newer pc. Partly just venting my frustration with fountain's choice, so thank you for that opportunity 😉
