🗞 #Ethereum transaction fees have significantly increased, even as active accounts hit their lowest point of the year.

In early September, the average transaction fee dropped below $1 for the first time since July 2020, well before the proof-of-stake transition and other major updates. In recent weeks, this fee has surged, reaching $3.52 in September, more than triple the $0.85 recorded on September 1, according to The Block data.
