I think keeping it simple for new nostr users who will in time also be new bitcoin users is best.

Having said that, I'd like to see better custodial tradeoffs available. Liquid & Fedi are both promising to me in that you don't need to be an LSP to use them.

The privacy gains are huge as well.

Personally I spend more lightning sats than I receive. Perhaps this feature would appeal to new nostr content creators when they arrive.
