No alternative imageboard has better moderation than 4chan’s already crappy moderation, at least not the international ones. The more stable communities are either tailored toward women (and honestly, I doubt most of the users are actually women), or they’re super niche, almost dead boards. All the ones in the top five are complete trash fires. The second most popular imageboard? Its owner is known for selling user data to the government (and no, not Watkins or Hotwheels).

Like it or not, Hiroyuki and GrapeApe weren’t in it for some weird wish fulfillment. All the other boards have admins who are completely drunk on power, and they’re the main reason I moved to Nostr. Use them at your own risk.
