Dark roast is fiat coffee.

We’ve been sold a lie that coffee should “taste strong” (burnt) but the reason starcucks roasts like that is so poor quality beans taste consistent(ly bad) and your 17 year old barista can’t fuck up the extraction.

Quality beans, harvested ripe and processed with care from a uniform crop should be naturally sweet, and flavourful.

Real coffee, like real money, should be transparent and traceable. Proof of work in every sip.
