So on one random Thursday:

- Lebanon closes all banks and ATMs

- Nigeria invalidates all old currency

I truly don't understand how people can look at the world and not see how desperately most people need bitcoin.

Even us "rich" people in the West don't have a way to save money against inflation, let alone developing nations.

This shit is so obvious it hurts.

It’s all about worldview and your source of information - it’s painful to watch

I don’t know what’s better for humanity, a bull run to captivate the attention of people into bitcoin or a bear market so those that are aware enough can stack cheap sats before hyperbitcoinization.

Imo, bull run for sure.

Relative to the remaining supply, we have way too many coins as it is.

May not feel that way now, but when billions of people are bidding up the last like 50k coins in circulation it's gonna be very... Lol

That’s true. I just sympathize for the people in places like Nigeria that won’t get the opportunity to stack many sats especially as price increases while being the ones that need it most (compared to the West at the moment).

I suspect the transition to bitcoin will turn a few country stereotypes on their heads. Countries with famously bad economies fail into absolute need for bitcoin earlier. That gives them a time lead on making the transition if they start now. So El Salvador is theoretically going to move way up the ladder. Rich western countries will still have strong wealth split, but the rich will be early adopter hodlers instead of those closest to the money printer.

It’s gonna take one “Bail In” of a western bank
just a matter of time until we all realize we are shareholders of the banks we think “hold” our fiat

People get caught up in the “perfect solution” fallacy.

They hear generic FUD about volatility or scalability, and so dismiss bitcoin entirely because it’s not “perfect”, even though it directly addresses a problem they’re facing.

Nailed it.

The good ship lollipop is going down fast and most people have no clue and don’t care.

The good news is we have the answer in our own hands and can spread the word. No more excuses

Ahh đŸ‡±đŸ‡§â€ïžâ€đŸ©č

Everyone understands the problem, pain, but very few gets into bitcoin. I always wonder what is that factor, which stops them from making decision to exit current monetary system and move in to bitcoin standard? đŸ€”

Some true evil took the reigns. Minimum wages, starvation, and homelessness is going to be the default. Those who work for bitcoin will have all the luxuries middle class Americans used to enjoy.

What happens to people’s accounts when they invalidates old currencies?
