Fake Christianity usually leads with "God loves you for who you are, so don't be a jerk to anyone for who they decide to be."

God loves Mankind, but hates the Sin that Mankind has rebelled to.

And yet, even as not one Man is worthy of God's redemption, He still chose to draw a people into Christ for salvation and sanctification.

Those people hate what God hates.

Is God capable of sin? I ask because I'm trying to read the bible for the first time and there are so many things in Genesis that seem pretty bad.

Got it. Wiping all land animals out in a flood because humans are wicked is fine, but questioning this is not.
