Still waiting on details from the joint press conference but markets already moving higher here including Hong Kong. Reduction of stamp duty on stock trades might be part of what comes out.

Yeah well, there really wasn’t much at the end of the day. No stamp tax reduction although outstanding mortgages do look set to be reduced for one year. That’ll provide some direct assistance to a hundred million households.

Oh no no no. This will be directly related to addressing the economy. SAT = State Administration of Taxation. That is the odd man in this group.

Interesting. Formal announcement of CCPs ownership of all companies and legal framework for such? I doubt it but it’s one possibility.
