Primal uses strike.me as a custodial wallet. Meaning they old the money and have to comply with US banking and money transfer laws. You could use a wallet which is non-custodial and it’ll work. Unfortunately it’s harder to setup. Maybe nostr:npub12rv5lskctqxxs2c8rf2zlzc7xx3qpvzs3w4etgemauy9thegr43sf485vg could help you figure out cashu for a nostr wallet.
It’s contradictory to talk about freedom while acting against it. Primal Wallet doesn’t allow Iranian users to select Iran. This can discourage new Iranian users from joining Nostr with nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg if they want to use the primary wallet. Although there are alternative wallets for setup, it doesn't address the main problem.
