I love my conversations with farmers and producers. These are guys who are out there every day making a living off the land. They are some of the most grounded people who I have the chance to interact with.

Even with all of the bullshit they have to put up with in order to maintain their way of life. It's no wonder it's a dying trade, I really do think Bitcoin fixes so many problems farmers are pissed off about.

End subsidies, make real markets great again, end factory farming that produces more product waste than product that is actually used to feed life.

This isn't an easy solution. At the base level subsidized commodity production is the existing system. Our food supply chains are built on that. Removing subsidies overnight is too extreme and would cause irreparable damage, food supply would halt overnight.

Instead we need to identify how Bitcoin can bridge food systems over to the new system. The first step is for farmers and producers to hold bitcoins on their farm balance sheets, the next step might be to set up small mining operations on farms - electricity is tax deductible for farmers, and even after that it would be to begin using more robotics and AI to do the heavy lifting/labor intensive farm activities.

We have to build bridges from one system to the next.
