When I first started learning about bitcoin, which I still am of course, I asked the question, "What is bitcoin?" Someone online answered with the two words, "digital gold." I was nonplussed and thought it was a flippant answer. Turns out, it was right. But, bitcoin is even better...it's even more scarce than gold.

My argument is that it is even better than a better gold.
Good take. We're just scratching the surface with "build on bitcoin" stuff. I guess you can "build with gold" (jewelry, electronics, bling teeth), but it's not the same.
The limits of the physical gold are much much more that Bitcoin and that is why it will have much much more applications.
