He’s backing it up by highlighting Finland’s own muscle: 280K mobilizable troops via conscription, 64 F-35s (with US ties, but he trusts mutual interests), Europe’s biggest artillery (tied with Poland), and long-range missiles.

Circus 🤡 of clowns who think they determine how the world operates

They do have quite some influence on how many people spend their productive or destructive time.

Only cause the masses give it to them. The creators of this system we live in were clever

Do you honestly think a few clever people just sat down and designed this? Isn’t it more plausible that it emerged over centuries through power struggles and shifting social norms?

Who said anything about a few?

Yes it did develop over centuries, as nation states formed and a class of people realized they could subjugate the entire population with abstract ideas and power projection

The tribes got larger with the formation of nation states. All human societies have some kind of hierarchical elements these are always reproduced by narratives. Storytelling and warfare might be what distinguishes us from other apes. The enlightenment let us question many of the stories that reproduced the feudal society but this doesn't mean we were left with no stories at all. Stories powerful enough to motivate men to sacrifice their life for some ideas, and certainly powerful enough for some people to have privileges other don't have. My point is, that the narrative based web of power and inequality relations is far more complex than a distinction between an exploiting class and the subjugated population. And that the remedy is not just eliminating "the system" but presenting new narratives that allow for a better organization of society.

Winter War lends more credibility to Finland than most.

Can it defend itself from the Americans? 🤔

The only thing Europe can defend is immigrant rights.
