Replying to nobody

In recent weeks I’ve been committed to making meals at home and inviting over loved ones for dinner.

Today I’m like, oof. Just want to be in bed or get take out.

Is this what it’s like when you have kids? Anyone stoked to cook for their kiddos daily?

I’m the primary cook in my house. Definitely get sick of it. Do they really have to eat every day?

Thats funny re: do they really have to eat everyday 😊 I’ve learned to appreciate the value of a shared meal and like, times for family dinner daily, it just different than how I grew up bc my mom always worked night shift at the hospital and my dad days; so dinner was catch as catch can/not necessarily communal

We try to have dinner all together at least a few times a week. Gets harder as they get older.
