I have a boring question (again).

What water bottle do you have?

Nalgene.

I see this brand come up a lot.

The only brand for canoe-camping

Any reason? Durability? Material?

I actually love the klean kanteen too. I use my KK when I don’t need insulation, but my hydroflask because I usually hike with tea too.

Stainless steel, no BPA leaking into the water, no aluminium (linked now to alzeimers).

With cap off can be used to purify water on a fire when hiking and sourcing water from streams and lakes.

Interesting

fake stanley cup from amazon that looks better than the original I AM SORRY

Does it matter? I just use the cheapest

Well, that is sort of the question. Does it matter? Does the material matter? I don't know.

Hydroflask.

A generic stainless steel one from amazon, https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08KGPL2GR

Wow even the generic ones are pricey!

Is there a reason why people are going for stainless steel? Over aluminium? Over plastic?

I guess they haven't found any evidence that stainless steel consumption is bad yet, while they have found issues with aluminium and plastic lol

A glass one I got from buying posh olive oil on special offer.

Its a flip top glass bottle. Might be a good excuse to buy a quality beer too 😉

A broken one that I am too cheap to replace.
