First time raising broilers. They were pasture raised and harvested at just a bit over 8 weeks. I only raised 8 as a trial and total weight is 38lbs with average being 4.6lb.

I butchered them myself. It sure was a learning process. Scalding temperature is CRITICAL! My first thermometer was incorrect and the temperature wasn't hot enough. The difference is an hour in plucking time per chicken!
