Is this from the key chat app or what. I've got keychat but it seems to be just a regular messaging app. Not sure how to accomplish what is shown in the video. It's possible I'm using an older version though

It might be worth trying Keychat’s 12-word seed phrase — it allows you to derive multiple IDs with ease.
You can use both Amber and a seed phrase at the same time.
