It’s sad but most “bitcoiners” don’t believe there is a reason to run their own bitcoin node.

We need to do a much better job at emphasizing network participation and the benefits/peace of mind of running your own node

Getting in a family business state of mind.

I think this is one of the big indicators that point to whether someone is here for ideological reasons or speculative reasons.

Very true, but at the same time these people are going to be rugged in the long term unless they change their reasoning
