Nvidia’s 5000 series cards selling out in an instant and the 4090s still being sold for $4k are what happens when there isn’t meaningful competition. It would be really nice for AMD to get it together soon.

Meaningful competition for that exact product, which in my opinion nobody needs except people who like to spend shitloads of money.

I’d say being able to use AI locally and not rely on ClosedAI’s data centers is pretty important.
