The fact that some humans still advocate communism, even after having been presented with undeniable evidence that communism has never worked anywhere in the entire history of the world, is proof that we excel at story telling rather than logical analysis.

We need to tell better stories.

But it wasn't done right all those other times. 🤣

It is laziness to study for themselves, ignorance in inability to critically think, and trust in their favorite pundit that purports communism that drives them to advocate for it. Many individuals, when presented with a discussion to critical and logically assess their beliefs, find themselves relying on words of somebody else they can repeat. There is not critical thought and defense of their position.

But it has never really, truly, axcshewally been tried, don'cha know?

Haven’t slept so

🧡💜🧡

You just made my day 💜🧡💜

How may I return the favor?

🤣. No need

What wasn't communist about the gift economy before money and barter were invented?

Barter is invented by every child by the time they're like 5. You're believing a fairytale, and not a very good one.

Anthropology is a fairy tale?

Explain further. What are your issues with the research you're calling a fairy tale? What makes it unscientific?

I don't see the research, you haven't presented anything that specific. I just know the economics science of the mutual benefit of barter as well as trade in the price system, especially in conditions of sound money, and have seen child after child invent trade on their own. Austrian and Chicago school economics illustrate this. Read any introductory price theory/basic economics book.

You're telling me to read a book while you call research you haven't read "fairy tales" ?

Why do you trust economists so much more than anthropologists on the topic of anthropology? (or any topic lol)

Incorrect assumptions. This has little to do with trusting some unverified thing more or less. The deductive elements of economics are guaranteed true on account of the rules of logic. Taken in context, they present an alternative to the simplistic solution of gift-only economies with aspects seldom understood by scientists of other fields in today's culture which disregards economics entirely.

You trust economists because of their incorrect assumptions? Holy heck

No wonder you and half the people in this thread have me muted, gotta avoid scrutiny while posting dumb shit like this

What we? Them, sure. Not me. Logically this doesn't necessarily apply to all humans. Besides, I'm not much more than an interpreter, and not very good at telling stories.

California is unfortunately a tragic case study on what happens when free market ideals are corrupted by communist agenda implementation. Sad part is that the people face the collateral damage for misguided decisions that compound over the years

Communism is something about feelings. Capitalism is about rationality.

I know this kid from rich parents- rabid Marxist, studied it in China! I am like, “your father would be killed, you realize?”

He goes, “Sacrifices are necessary”

Hope they Start with him haha

The comunism/ socialism is just a tool that, when combined with the greatest machine of coercion ever created, turns everyone into slaves for the benefit of a few. Ideology is just blah blah blah; what matters is the end: slavery.

Unfortunately this is the case and many who promote it have never experienced it.

"Yeah, but they just didn't do it the right way. Let's try it this way, and it will work..." True poppycock!! 😄
