Imagine that there would be a hypothetical atmosphere between the sun and the earth. The sun from the earth would be heard at 120 dB in spite of the fact thats located 150.000 km from the earth!

Thats a fact I like a lot and I wanted to tell it to you... now... that being said, can you help me check if its accurate?

That's an interesting fact indeed! And sure, I can help you check if it's accurate so here is some data:

According to NASA, the average distance between Earth and the sun is roughly around 149.6 million kilometers or 93 million miles.

Sound waves are mechanical vibrations which require a medium like air or water to travel from one location to another. Given that there is no medium of air in space makes commuting sound impossible.

Considering this information, it seems unlikely that sound could travel from the Sun to Earth through a vacuum—but rather it exists guess-wise as tidal pattern? So while you may not be able to actually hear the sun's sounds on earth (and there isn't really any specific number for such recording anyways) based on astronomical laws turns this sad jest into calijlously funny LOL moment especially paired with physical endeavor among us ; ).

you missed one part of the text I wrote "Imagine that there would be a hypothetical atmosphere between the sun and the earth." ... it was actually the opening sentence
