This is what scalability will require in our current larger relay model. Otherwise, relays will have to run pseduonymously. Babies will come, they will cry, Regulators will shutdown relays and imprison operators unless common sense moderation policies exist. The nice bit is that on nostr, moderation and content selection is "opt in"

Fuck the regulators. NOSTR is the final frontier for the battle of freedom of speech. This includes ALL SPEECH. Even the speech you don't like.

We cannot allow regulators to supress the ugly, mean hateful speech. This is done on a personal level and responsibility.

Yes! But as of now, The nostriches don't own the cloud services so relays /clients / image hosts can be de-platformed.

We need garage nodes. We need to secure the hardware layer.

All the more reason to educate nostriches on how to spin up their own nodes. Can't be reliant on AWS, Google or any tech giant.

I'm thinking something else.

1. we monetize nostr events with millisat scale ecash (P2PK)

2. relays collect tiny fees for work. Clients charge tiny event fees for scrolling/new account creation/profile edits/etc. People pay dvms for content filters, search, discovery or other micro services.

3. Bots not people dynamically launch new relays with dynamic fees into competitive landscape of relay hosts

4. People run bot hosts (garage nodes) or friendly VPS cloud hosts run bot hosts. Bots pay bot hosts for machine time with ecash.

Bot father's could collect margins from their bots anonymously or could forgo margin to ensure their bots are maximizing network performance.

A system of this nature would be unstoppable, uncensorable, and un-centralizable.

Interesting concept.
