Part of me thinks they’re downplaying all the footage because it’s so unusual even for the current state of the climate. Like did you see the amount of sand on the streets and in peoples homes in St Pete?? And then up around Newport TN they had river stones stacked up 2-3 ft high on top of their fields - as if it had been dumped there by dump trucks and leveled out. Like not only did the storm move water, it moved sand and stone in a weird way.
