I still get some news coverage here thanks to a few accounts such as nostr:nprofile1qqsw34n9r8jrkys54350nu4ah3pcd4q6ce4jp3dzvzumqsgz0pq8f6gpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq3yamnwvaz7tmsw4e8qmr9wpskwtn9wv8vklms.

But I generally am finding that I don’t doom scroll here. No algorithm hijacking my brain.

And I hear from people I follow even if no one else reacted to their post. Which is how it should be. If I decided to follow an account, I want to hear from that account. I don’t need or want someone dictating who is in my feed.

I’m finding I am actually connecting with people here more as well and I think that is a byproduct of the open and simple design.

Nostr is great and I’m tired of pretending it isn’t.
