I think it is a side effect of having a lot of followers. some people follow you to show their support and love and some people follow you to show a superiority by making gender joke. i was once being told "dressing slutty" when help organizing a meetup. well, a tech meetup. it is so annoying but i wont let these things stop me pursuing my goal, just like you are still being here. :) love you.
