For example, I use Alby for easy Zapping and #1tap2zap on Nostr. However, I often transfer my entire balance to my own personal node. You never know what the future holds with custodial services. I enjoy Alby and I trust them enough for day to day transactions on Nostr, but not long term storage.
Running your own node is a bit technical in the traditional sense. However, the easiest and non-technical way to do this is with Phoenix Wallet or nostr:npub1mutnyacc9uc4t5mmxvpprwsauj5p2qxq95v4a9j0jxl8wnkfvuyque23vg. 🤙🏻 If you need any help, just ask. Nostriches have your back.
