You want rid of the heat so metal is the only option unless you want a nice bit of kit to roast marshmallows on 😂

Maybe make the ‘lid’ from cedar for an exquisite aroma when it gets warm 😍

Yes, heat dissipation would be important :) I think it would be slotted with a fan to circulate.
