My wands. They're all perfect for their purpose, and peach wood is love.

My staffs/posts are all projects for another day

Avocado wood still drying out.

You can see why these are perfect as a sign post and a rafiki staff

That's awesome thanks for sharing. I also inherited a passion for woodworking from my grandfather. He liked to make things for us grandkids and I hope to do the same for mine one day.

I don't think my grandpa worked these. But he had a knack for defense and practicality.

My love for making these tools I think came from my mom and her native American influence🤷🏽 the nature and spirit within things.

I’ve started a cane and a walking stick over the past year or so, haven’t gotten to oiling them/putting a tip on em. But I like them so far for very amateurish attempts.

Your collection is amazing. I love it.

Also never thought #stickstr would be on Nostr lol

I really kind of like the natural look on the 2 that are orange branches. I'm leaving then was they are.

As for my wands the 2 thicker ones ended up real nice and what I did for that... Well besides my own wandmaking ceremony which was the whole process of making it,

Part included hand massaging wax into them. Like the heat of my hands. I think they turned out amazing!

Yes! The natural look is awesome.

What kind of wax did you use?

Tea lights from Amazon

Oh cool. Excellent 💜

😁😁 yeah I was thinking about crayons because I had an excess from a different project. But I didn't know if the color would tint even if it was in a small layer?

So I defined just to go with white which melts clear and I got my hands all goopy
