So instead of Likes, people Zap?
What app are you using to read this?
We have “likes” on #nostr, see screenshot of my notifications in Damus.
But we prefer “zaps” - sending small amounts of Bitcoin to good posts.
You need to setup a Bitcoin Lightning wallet to receive zaps though. Download https://www.walletofsatoshi.com , create an account, then press “Receive” and post a screenshot of your QR code and receiving address.

Nostr uses 🤙 instead of ❤️ for likes.
You can use ANY emoji though - long press the 🤙 button and choose a different emoji to react with.
But yes, zaps is the superpower. You get micropayments instead of/on top of “likes”.
