There are some pretty bad attitudes going around that are really pissing me off. There's a lot of mean-spiritedness directed at new-coiners and no-coiners. Like anyone just coming into this deserves to be completely screwed over on price for not getting in before. And some of more experienced bitcoiners behave like they're in a cult. It's really ugly.

Personally I am in the Maximalist school. I understand how you feel but there are plenty of shitcoiners who prey on new people and they basically set up a circus tent in front of the truth in order to rug pull the new person.

Price should not be a hindrance to getting into Bitcoin. You can self custody with a simple lightning wallet. You can earn Bitcoin for great ideas. Just like you zapped me! Thanks!

As a newbie I've seen a little of that but to be honest most of my (granted, very new) experience here has been welcoming, friendly, and responsive to my questions no matter how dorky they might come across. I hope you get some more positive interactions this year.
