I was using phoenix for a little bit while I was building out my node. Its a good in between. They act as an LSP so you don't need to manage liquidity but they give you control of your keys.

I was under the impression that you couldn't receive using phoenix on here?

Oooh your trying to do LNURL or zapping I bet. Urm. Im not a fan of custodians but alby or stacker news, even wallet of satoshi is a option.

If your not running a node your entirely reliant on these custodians and I dont like recommending them but i also don't wanna do an info dump on you if you're not ready to host your own know yet.

Yeah I've always just used semi custodial lightning wallets as I don't use lightning enough to warrant running a node (I run my own layer one node, but its not compatible with lightning unfortunately). Would love to be able to send zaps though, seems like a great use for ln.
