I'm thinking about a technical advancement with the hardware. Privacy phones have been tried in the past, and for various reasons, best to keep any and all corporate interest away from it.
In a certain way there's never a way to delegate it and trust corporations to offer us privacy. Maybe privacy online is like becoming a Catholic, you need to make a choice, study and go through the sacraments.
One thing at a time! The biggest advances will come from each improvement in the chip in the phones which is cost prohibitive for most people. Battery life goes up ALOT each generation of phone.
