Use whatever provider you want! Nostr.com is just one newer provider. Nostrplebs.com is the original and most recognized. Create your own if you have the capability 🫂

Mike this is great info but too advanced for me. I own my domain hosted thru godaddy but I don’t know how to upload a file to domain directory or find directory(!) or find my relays. Would you recommend just using nostrplebs.com for now and then changing to my own domain once I can learn how?
