Why ideologically?
(from what I understand, and my understanding is limited and somewhat confused lol) amethyst doesn't seem keen on getting rid of their 'adopted blocklists' (or whatever you want to call it). To me that seems a deliberate choice / vision of a social media, perhaps more sanitised and linkedin-ish or something, than what I would personally like to use and potentially recommend to people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
But bear in mind I'm a casual here and a silly goosey;)
It's a shame tho, cos it's slick af lol, songats off to amethyst for that tho obviously:)
