Basically, when the smart money with deep pockets wants to enter the market, they will trigger a bunch of retail stop losses to trade into so that they have liquidity for their entry and don't get too much slippage. Notice on both ends the breakout didn't go very far and quickly reversed. When you know what's happening it's so fucking obvious to see.

Bitcoin is a lot easier to push around than most markets because of the very limited float and massive leverage in the futures markets.
