I agree. I wish they can make it work though. I had a 4 cylinder turbo and it leaked a lot. Oil and coolant. But when it was good it was great.
I like older cars I can still work on.

Its sad to me. I have a 4runner with 500k miles. Still runs great. We don't seem to care about laing things that last anymore.
Stellantis took the steel cylinder liner out of their 4 cylinders. That surely will help them to last! 🤣
