People I know talk about the cost of things. And the good old days when the price of a salmon steak cost less than an hourly wage.

So that can always be a good place to explore money and its store of value.

I find asking questions a better approach. In the spirit of genuine, mutual self discovery.

"Hey, remember when you could buy a coffee or coke for one thin dime?"
