My yard is full of all types of bugs now since I let the natural clove take over. It use to mostly be St. Augustine but after the drought and the freeze last year I said fuck it and let it come back naturally without interference from me other than fertilizer. Best decision I ever made and the bees love it :)

Did you do anything to promote the clover?

I use put down some natural fertilizer and property watered it and that was all. The clover literally started spreading all over by itself. I didn't mow the yard for like 2 months just to let them reach a food growth height bit yeah that's it.

Eventually I'll probably drop some seeds in a few spots but I'm waiting to see what the clover goes without me interfering. So far so good
