I used it for a bit, and even wrote some long-form reads for #nostr using it.

Decided to use Primal before eventually settling on Obsidian.

How are you using obsidian as a nostr client? I’ve seen plugins for posting but wasn’t aware you could do this.

Basically, there's an Obsidian plugin called Nostr Writer, which I have in a specific vault only for reads I write on #nostr. With my current vault, I've written 4 reads, though in a previous vault (that's since been deleted off of my drive), I made a couple reads using it.

It also has the ability to do regular, short-form posts, but no replies, which I'm alright with.

Also, the private key you input to it is saved locally when using Obsidian in a local-first manner, like how nostr:npub18dlusgmprudw46nracaldxe9hz4pdmrws8g6lsusy6qglcv5x48s0lh8x3 does his work.

To clarify, he doesn't write using the Nostr Writer plugin (as he had no idea about it). However, he does write things inside of nostr to eventually copy and paste them. In my case, I can just post long-form and short-form notes using the Nostr Writer plugin.
