Watching more on that hot air balloon tragedy that killed 8 people and I can't help but wonder one thing.

If boats are required to carry life jackets and other PPE(personal protection equipment), why the fuck aren't hot air balloons required to carry parachutes?

You may not be high enough for it to fully inflate and you may still die, but at least you get a fighting chance, just like a 🛟.
