This is why I have a hard time crediting Man, as opposed to God, with the "invention" of money.
Did Man invent sailing, and if he did, what % of sailing is actually the discovery of the innate properties of Creation. Was God surprised that we "invented" a way to interact with His oceans, His winds? No.
God invented Creation, man "invented" sailing. But I think it's appropriate to say that Man discovered systems of utilizing Creation exactly as God ordained that we would.
Everything of wonder and awe, systems and disciveries and inventions that amaze us, were discovered.
