Zelensky is not an elected leader and has placed an order not allowing deals with Putin.

Putin follows the letter of the law and cannot sign a deal with an unelected leader of Ukraine.

Elections will be held, Zelensky will lose, throw a tantrum and probably end up dead. Zelensky thinks he has power but he was always a pawn.
